There will always be other girls...

We've all heard the saying, "In a relationship, it's all about trust. You HAVE to trust your partner". But honestly, we can preach it all we want, but inside of us there's always going to be that little tiny itty bitty part that says, "well maybe.....blahblahblah". Whether it's trusting your boyfriend when he tells you he's not cheating on you when there are 2 really nice guys telling you he is and they're swearing and willing to show you proof, or if it's trusting him when he says that you look pretty, sometimes, it's his opinion and input that should matter and it is...all about trust.

And there will. I get EXTREMELY uncomfortable when I see another girl hug my boyfriend. Oh my goodness, it's not even explainable. You're standing there awkwardly, and then without knowing it, all of these thoughts and assumptions flow through your head. Does he like her? He liked her before didn't he? Is he going to break up with me? Or, when your best friend is texting him. He's talking to her way more than he's talking to me. He likes her, or liked her I don't know. He just used a winky face. OMG. Kill me now, he likes her. BUT, the thing is, they're just thoughts and assumptions. I overreact, I guess, to things. It's a natural occurrence that happens to me. I assume things too much, and I'm a girl. I get jealous. That's one thing my boyfriend doesn't like about me; the fact that I assume things way too much. I'm trying to fix this habit but when theres a pretty girl, and an amazing hot guy...you're bound to think something. But, I'm just letting it go. Okay, sure I might feel like shit sometimes but you have to trust your boyfriend. If he says there's no one else, then trust him no matter how much it bugs you.

Until next time,
xoxo

Where Have I Been?

Hey everyone!

I know, you probably already forgotten about me, but I haven't forgotten about you! I saw that my last post was on Feb. 29th! That's so long ago! I'm so sorry I haven't made a post in such a long time, I guess it's because I've been so busy and caught up on things that I didn't realize that I didn't update my blog! If you haven't noticed, I changed the URL and name of my blog to: www.vanessatiffanie.blogspot.com. I also got the design and everything redone and personalized! I am in love with the new layout and logo! Thank you Megan for everything!

So, let's start off with some new things about my life. I have a boyfriend! His name's Kyle, and he's amazing. I'm not sure if he'd want his picture floating around on the internet so I'm going to wait until I can post pictures of us, but we've been dating since Apr.14th which was the day of the school dance. Technically Mar.14th, but it didn't work out then, so we're giving it a 3rd shot. Since then, we've been going through some bumps but we're managing. I'm so happy and it's all to him! My best friend Molly and her boyfriend Joey have been dating since the 13th of April so we're a day apart on our anniversaries. It's such a coincidence that my best friend and I share anniversaries one day apart!

I went through 2 phone cases this month! For some reason, they all keep on breaking and cracking and what not. I just ordered a new one online! At first, I was going to order the one from Elle and Blair Fowler's Cell Phone Line from Cellairis, but they didn't have the color I wanted. The case looks identical to the Winter Glow Aquamarine case, but it's in purple.

Elle and Blair Winter Glow Aquamarine iPhone 4/4s Case $49.99

So, I hope you all have a wonderful week, and I will be sure to post more often!

I finally bought it!!! Ft. Versace Bright Crystal

I went to the mall the other day with my best friends in the entire world, and I splurged on a perfume I've been dying to get! It's...dun dun dun...VERSACE BRIGHT CRYSTAL! I got the 1.7 oz at Sephora for around $67.00 and it is worth every single dollar.

What I say-
It's a sweet and flory scent. It doesn't have any woodsy, musky undertones or first layers, so if you're the kind of person who likes those types of perfumes, this one isn't the right one for you. Honestly, it's the perfect scent for everyday, dates, hang-outs, EVERYTHING. It accentuates a girly, bubbly personality while giving it a slight sexier, happy vibe. It's a super fresh, floral, feminine, bright, fruity fragrance.

What they say-
Notes:
Iced Accord, Yuzu, Pomegranate, Peony, Magnolia, Lotus Flower, Acajou, Vegetal Amber, Musk
Style:
Sheer. Sensual. Luminous.

So if your someone looking for a really feminine smelling eau de toilette, then pick up Versace Bright Crystal at Sephora, Ulta, Nordstrom, Saks, etc!

If you're someone like me, then maybe you might be interested in these fragrances as well!
-Michael Kors Very Hollywood (I'm going to be buying this one next!)
-Flora by Gucci (And this one too!)
-Burberry Brit Sheer (And this one...)
-Bebe Sheer (A must buy!)
-Marc Jacobs Daisy (My sister's favorite)
-Gucci Guilty (My mom's favorite)
- Coco Chanel (Another one of my mom's favorites)
-Coco Mademoiselle (And another of my mom's favorites)
-Chanel N5 (And...another of her favorites)

Until next time

Greek Yogurt Granola Parfait

I found this picture: HERE
My mom bought greek yogurt because our neighbor made homemade granola, and it was delicious! I've soon enough became addicted to greek yogurt parfaits! They're a much healthier and contain fewer calories than ice cream, cake, etc. Many people like to put honey or sugar on their greek yogurt. Here's how I like to enjoy mine:

INGREDIENTS
-Greek Yogurt (I use Fage Total 0% Greek Yogurt)
-Maple Syrup (Organic, 100% pure, of course)
-Organic Fruit (Such as blueberries, strawberries, and raspberries)
-Granola (My neighbor's had oats, almonds, cranberries, apricots, etc.)

One small bowl of this will satisfy any sweet tooth. This is a great and healthy breakfast option, snack, or dessert. It is also very good for the skin!

Until next time...

Double Duty Studying

Found this picture here: HERE
My thighs and mid-section have grown abnormally large. Why? I sit and eat like a pig all day. I usually run a mile every day but lately I haven't had the time to do so because I'm either on my Mac, my iPhone 4s, or Facebook. That's why, I'm studying while exercising! Make sense? I'm a yoga addict and I'll write information on flashcards and read them while doing an easy, yet powerful pose. Then, I'll quiz myself while having a pilates/yoga ball in between my knees and do sit ups. It's painful. If I don't answer the question before my legs and stomach hurt and I stop, then I'll have to do leg lifts with the ball in between my ankles. Painful!!! You can do this too! It's super easy!

Things you'll need:
1. An Excercise/Yoga/Pilates Ball (Mine's purple!)
2. A Yoga Mat (optional, I find it easier if you're doing this on tile/wood) (Mine's purple!)
3. Flashcards/Notecards
4. Permanent Marker (I buy the crazy colorful Sharpie ones so I can color code and make it look pretty!)

Steps:
1. Write all the material you need to study on a flash card. (Ex: On one side write "3 Dynasties", On the reverse side, write Zhou, Qin, and Han.)
2. Set them next to you and put the ball in between your knees (Insert perverted laugh here)
3. Read the side with the question (Ex: 3 Dynasties) and try to answer it while doing as many sit-ups as you can. If you fail to answer the question in time before you stop, proceed to step 4, if you manage to answer it (yay you!), then go to step 5.
4. Yoga ball in between your ankles and do 10-20 leg lifts, in order to process everything through, and read the reverse side OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER AGAIN!
5. Move on to the next question!

It's super easy, and you get an amazing quick workout by doing so!
