Nails: Pink with Silver Glitter Ring Finger

Picture from here
My recreation
I found this picture online and I'v fell in love with the look! I think it's so cute and just girly and pretty! So, I took a bubble gum pink nail polish that I've had for a while (Wet N' Wild Pink Petal Glitter $2.00) and applied 2 coats of that on each nail except my ring finger. Then, I took a multi-color silver glitter nail polish (Betsey Johnson for Sephora by OPI in Sparkling Personality $9.50) and applied a coat on each ring finger.
1. Nails Inc. Kensington Caviar Base Coat $10.00
2. Wet N' Wild Mega Shine Nail Polish in Pink Petal Glitter $2.00
3. Betsey Johnson for Sephora by OPI Nail Polish in Sparkling Personality $9.50
4. Sally Hansen Insta-Dry Anti-Chip Top Coat $6.50

If you have any nail suggestions let me know I'd love to try them!

Until Next Time,
xoxo

Self Tanners, My Favorites & Save 10% Off! (Review: Sun Goddess Self Tanning Lotion)

Hey everyone,
I am super super super excited to finally be doing this post! I've been waiting a while to test the product first before I put my thoughts in about it. Now, before I begin I want to make a quick disclaimer saying that this product was sent to me by the company. But, I was not forced to make a post about it, or advertise it. All the opinions below are my own, and are not affected by the company. Keep on reading to see how you can save 10% off your order!

Okay, so I know that summer is almost over and that tan that you worked so hard for by laying outside is starting to fade away. Every girl (or guy) wants that sexy, healthy, "sun-kissed" glow year round. Tanning beds are so bad for your skin it probably should be illegal. Tanning in tanning beds put harmful UV rays directly to your skin that can cause major health problems such as skin cancer. Click here if you want to learn more about tanning, and the effects it can cause to your health. I am not a professional or an expert in any way, shape or form, but I have been using self-tanning products for about a year. I don't use them so often, only when I want a nice glow to my skin for a special event or something along those lines. The one's I have used in the past and like include Banana Boat Summer Color Self Tanning Lotion Deep/Dark Color $7.49, St. Tropez Self Tan Bronzing Mousse $40.00 and Jergens Natural Glow & Protect Daily Moisturizer Medium/Tan $7.99
These are ones that can be found at stores such as Ulta or Sephora (see links for details).

The one I have been absolutely loving lately is the Sun Goddess Self Tanning Lotion. Here are the claims:

In my opinion, this is an absolutely amazing self tanner. Not only does it give me a nice natural color, but it doesn't have a horrible smell, it lasts long, and it doesn't end up on my favorite clothes, or bedding. That's because it's incredibly quick drying. I would say if you're more experienced with using self tanner then this will easily become a favorite of yours, but if you're someone who isn't so familiar with it, then I would still definitely purchase this product but possibly mix it with some gradual tanning lotion or regular lotion to make the application easier for you.

The product comes out more like a liquid with glitter and shimmer in it (an amazingly cute bonus!). The packaging is also really cute, it's hard to tell in the pictures below but the bottle actually has sparkles on it! I'm a huge glitter/sparkle fan so this was a real nice bonus for me!

I would have to say another reason why this is such an amazing product would be because of the company. They do not test on animals, and the shipping was fast and the service was absolutely amazing.  Also, they are so nice to provide gloves to those using their product (attached to the bottle in a cute pink little bag!) Provided along side with any purchase of this self tanner are samples! I received 10! I gave one to one of my best friends because she told me she envied the tan that I had and I had to let her try this product out!

You get a nicely sized bottle (8 oz.) for $38.95. This amazing self tanner is slightly cheaper than the St. Tropez self bronzing mousse. Yet they both have that fast-drying property to them. Being fast drying, you can easily wear your clothes after (although they recommend waiting 3 hours prior to showering, swimming, or wearing any nice clothing). I would defiantly chose this one over St. Tropez at the moment because it is just really nourishing and luxurious to my skin and I feel like this one is better than all the other self tanner's I've used in the past. If you want an amazing, not super expensive self tanner, this one is definitely the one to get.

APPLICATION
The application of this product is very easy. All you need to do is exfoliate (to remove dead skin cells for a longer, more even tan) , apply moisturizer to any super dry areas (toes, knees, elbows, ankles...etc.), and apply this product. Like I said earlier, if you're not so familiar with applying self-tanne, then I would mix this maybe with a gradual self tanner, or a plain old moisturizer. Tanner>Moisturizer ratio though. If you are a professional at applying self tanner and getting it to cover your body without missing a spot and streaking before the dry time has come, then this will be a breeze for you. I apply it in circular motions because I feel like it doesn't get streaks. Also, when applying, use the gloves provided. This will prevent discoloration to the palms of your hands. They are so nice to provide this!

The tan is claimed to last you up to 10 days. I think it depends on however much you apply. Obviously the more you apply or the more times you do, it will last you a long time. However, if you apply just a little, and don't reapply, then it'll last you maybe a couple days and during those days, gradually fade away.

*Please note that these were taken in different rooms, the lighting did have an effect on the way the picture was captured.
I am super happy with this product, and I absolutely love it! Thank you so much Sun Goddess for introducing me to your revolutionary product which has quickly become a favorite of mine!

*You can save 10% off your order with a coupon code they kindly gave me for you to use! All you have to do is type: vanessatiffanie at checkout and you just saved 10%! How amazing!

I hope you enjoyed this post, let me know if you have any questions about it and I'll be more than happy to answer them!

Until next time,

Sephora Haul! 8-10-2012

I could practically name every single item in a Sephora store, the cost of it, and which brand it's from. If I'm not in Forever21, Hollister, Victoria's Secret, or Nordstrom, I'm at Sephora.

So, on my recent trip to Sephora, I picked up a couple products that I either needed because I was running low on it, or I wanted to try it out. *Keep in mind that this is a collective haul, I did not buy this all at one stop. This is everything I bought since mid-June.

Bare Minerals Blush in Fruit Cocktail $19.00
Bare Minerals Blush in Vintage Peach $19.00
Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing Gel  $25.00
Clinique Acne Solutions Clearing Concealer Medium 02 $16.50
Too Faced Natural Eye Neutral Eye shadow collection $36.00
Lancome Color Design Eye shadow in Vintage $18.00
Tarte Clean Slate Deluxe Primer Trio $9.00
Sephora Mineral Powder price unknown
Sephora Foundation price unknown

The products that I had to repurchase because I was running low on was my everyday moisturizer (Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing Gel), my concealer when I have acne (Clinique Acne Solutions Clearing Concealer), and my favorite eye shadow (Lancome Color Design Eye shadow in Vintage).

*I don't wear makeup on an every day basis, nor do I wear all of these products all at once. That would be...too much.

I have some Bare Mineral products already, and I saw these two blushes (Fruit Cocktail and Vintage Peach) and I thought they were so pretty! I love Bare Mineral products because they're mineral and they're just nice on my skin and they're not full of horrible chemicals.
I heard so many wonderful things about the Too Faced Natural Eye palette and I thought, why not. It is $36, but it comes with 9 eyeshadows! It is a popular palette and I thought it'd be a good purchase!
When I was in line at Sephora, I saw this Tarte Clean Slate Deluxe Primer Trio, and I looked it over and thought, why not. For just $9, I get 3 different products so I really wanted to try it out! I ended up falling in love with the Clean Slate Poreless Primer so I am going to buy the full size very soon! It makes my makeup just glide onto my face and it makes my face feel oh so soft!
The last two products, the foundation and mineral powder by Sephora, were bought because I found them in the line. They were unopened and I thought that maybe I'd give Sephora face makeup a try so I purchased them. I can't find the receipt for those products so I don't remember the price, but I remember they were less then $20, so it was cheap!

Until Next Time

FREE Physician's Formula Products! By Mail-in rebate

Hi everyone, so I am here today with a new and amazing deal that will blow your socks off! Well, if you're not wearing socks then it'll just blow your mind!
Currently, on the Physician's Formula website, you can  get  4 of their new products for free! All you have to do is go to www.physiciansformula.com and click the tab that says "Special Offers"

Then, you'll be directed to their special offers page with a bunch of different rebates for different products, as well as instructions on how to claim these products.
*Remember, this is by Mail-in rebate, so you must purchase the products first then send in the label and the receipt into the designated address.

I have already claimed the foundation, concealer, mascara and eyeliner already and I absolutely love the products! The foundation is my new all time favorite foundation because it goes on so velvety, and light and it has really great coverage! It is not your average liquid foundation, it isn't liquid at all! It's more of a mousse/velvet texture. I'll have a review up on my blog soon on that foundation (I have a mini typed up review that I posted on ulta.com that you can check out below). I plan on buying another shade! After all the rebates have been sent and processed, I saved $50! $50 on products that I wouldn't really consider buying until I found this and since that I have found my new favorite foundation!

Click the picture to read
**Also** I found that Wal-mart and Ulta do not carry the rebated label packages. CVS, Walgreens, and Rite Aid have the specially labelled packaging.
Look for the packages marked with a  "Try Me FREE!" label on them.
Picture is from here

Hurry and claim the rebate before the offer expires!

Until Next Time,
xoxo
