Review: Almay Color+Care Liquid Lip Balm in Cantaloupe Cream

Hi beautiful!

I hope you all had a great week! I'm not ready for summer to be over, I have so much to get done before the school starts! Anywhos, I went to Ulta and finally found the  Almay Color+Care Liquid Lip Balms. I was super excited when I saw it because I have heard so many great things about this moisturizing lip glosses! I picked up the shade Cantaloupe Cream because I felt like it was a very pretty kind of coral/peachy shade that would be perfect for the summer as well as spring! I wasn't expecting them to be super pigmented like a liquid lipstick so I thought it would be a perfect natural shade.

I purchased one for $5.99+tax at my local Ulta, but since I purchased other things that totaled more than $10, I was able to use a $3.50 off $10 purch. coupon that they sent me with their catalogue, so make sure you become a member to get sent those great deals! Otherwise, there's always a coupon on their website so you can always go to ulta.com to check that out.

They state that this product is highly moisturizing and hydrating for your lips because of Vitamin E and oils such as avocado oil. It is also stated that this product will add color and is also in fact gluten-free, and hypoallergenic.

*On the ulta.com website, the color of "Cantaloupe Cream" is not true to color. The website shows a really vibrant and bright coral shade, but below is a more peachy, almost milky peach/coral color.

#700 in the shade Cantaloupe Cream
The color swatched on my wrist is a beautiful and fun peachy shade, almost coral. Before blending it out the color pigmentation appears very rich, dense, and creamy.
When I blended it it because more sheer and very shiny, especially when worn on the lips. It is still the peachy/corally shade.

This is the applicator. It is a soft and basic doe-footed applicator.

Almay is known for having hypoallergenic products, which is a total bonus for me. I didn't have any kind of reaction to this product and I love it! It is super moisturizing, and the color is very sheer and light, but noticeable. The sheer peachy/coral shade really brightens up my face giving me a somewhat "glow". I feel as though this is perfect for school, or just going out since it is more on the natural side. It really is true to what it says, a liquid lip balm. I can't wait to purchase more!

Until Next Time,
xoxo
