Ulta Exclusive Benefit Falalala Flawless Set. Review: the POREfessional, BADgal Waterproof Mascara, Some Kind Of Gorgeous in Lite

Hello beauties!

Recently, on Black Friday, I purchased the Benefit Falalala Flawless set! It was $25.00 (+tax) at Ulta! I posted a link to the exclusive Black Friday ad on a previous post which did show the set in the ad. I believe today is the last day this product will be in stores so hurry on in to an Ulta store near you!

This set contains 3 full sized products! The reason for this purchase was for the POREfessional face primer. That primer runs for $30 by itself. To get 2 full sized products that were $19 (BADgal Waterproof Mascara) and $30 (Some Kind of Gorgeous in Lite) with the POREfessional ($30) for $25+tax was an amazing deal! I was super happy to pick up one on my Ulta trip!

Benefit the POREfessional face primer ($30.00)
This is a really silky-smooth face primer that comes out of the tube a gel-like flesh tone color, but goes on the skin really smoothly and transparent. I really like this product. A primer isn't necessary. It's more of a luxury product. However, I happen to really like using a face primer after my moisturizer, before my face makeup.

Product Description:

What it is:
A PRO balm that minimizes the appearance of pores.

What it does:
The POREfessional quickly minimizes the appearance of pores. Apply this silky, lightweight balm to achieve translucent pore coverage and smoother-than-smooth skin. Pores—now you see 'em, now you don't!

What else you need to know:
Oil-free. Instructions included.

I feel like this product lives up to the claims. It doesn't feel heavy, and it makes my skin look flawless! I really like this product and will be repurchasing this product once it's finished.

Benefit BADgal Waterproof Mascara ($19.00)
The wand on this mascara is much more smaller than the BADgal original (non-waterproof).

Product Description:

What it is:
A waterproof black mascara.

What it does:
Benefit BADgal Waterproof Mascara has a smudge-proof, tear-proof, and long-wearing formula combined with a custom brush that spirals around the stem to lift, curl, and separate every lash. Get ready for lashes with a little more oomph and a lot more drama.

When I first saw this mascara, I thought it wouldn't separate my mascara because the wand wasn't a rubber wand. However, this mascara did separate my lashes, lengthen them, and add volume! The color is a really nice black, not gray, black. It didn't clump and one thing I loved about this mascara was that it wasn't hard! When you apply a couple coats, your lashes don't feel like there's anything on! A good dupe for this mascara would be the Maybelline Full N' Soft mascara. I usually apply my favorite mascara primer (Lancome Cils Booster XL Super-Enhancing Mascara Base $23.00) before applying mascara. This mascara didn't smudge, but I'm not so sure about the waterproof claim being that I didn't go swimming in it or anything. It's really nice for everyday. I have a lot of mascara, no joke probably 30 tubes all in one drawer, and this one was another really nice addition to my drawer! Even though I like this one, I love drugstore mascaras that are a lot cheaper and work just as great, I probably won't repurchase it just because it's not incredible. It's just good.

Benefit Some Kind Of Gorgeous in Lite ($30.00)
At first, I thought that this was a setting powder. But once I opened it, I found out it was a cream-to-powder type makeup. In the packaging it's a cream, but once it touches skin it feels more like a creamish powder.

Product Description:

What it is:
A sheer, oil-free, cream-to-powder complexion perfector.

What it is formulated to do:
This lightweight, translucent, foundation-like product smoothes out imperfections and evens skin tone with a silky, smooth finish that's super natural and super gorgeous.

When I first applied this product, it looked a tad bit light to my slightly tanned skin. Once it was blended though, it matched my skintone. It works great as a "concealer" for blemishes. I'm not so sure how to apply it because I hate using the sponge applicators some products come with. I heard some people just use their fingers, which is what I'm probably going to end up doing. I don't think I would like this for a full-face cover makeup. I think I would just like to use this for a spot coverage makeup that I want if I don't want a lot of makeup on. it doesn't come with a ton of product actually, the packaging is sightly deceiving. This product is really nice, but it isn't a huge hit with me. I do like it though, I think I'm going to give myself more time and uses before actually saying whether I like it or not.

So that is my review on this set as well as the products! I hope you enjoyed this post!
